Brian Landers

Brian Landers, Executive Director & Founder

As the Founder of The Legal Summit, Brian Landers launched the inaugural event in January 2015 with guidance from longtime client Deborah Parker. Together, they envisioned a platform where legal event planners and business event partners could connect, collaborate, and share challenges, best practices, and innovative ideas to better support their firms and internal stakeholders.

In addition to leading The Legal Summit, Brian serves as Senior Vice President and Team Director at ConferenceDirect, overseeing a team of 42 sales professionals generating over $180 million in annual revenue. His extensive background includes leadership roles in on-property and global hotel sales with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company and Hilton Hotels, as well as destination marketing experience in Orlando and San Diego. His deep understanding of the legal industry played a pivotal role in shaping The Legal Summit to meet the unique needs of this sector within the business events landscape.

Nicki Furek Mullin

Senior Director of Events

Since joining The Legal Summit in 2017, Nicki Furek Mullin has been instrumental in its growth and ongoing success. Her ability to build strong relationships with new firms and contacts, as well as expand the event portfolio, has helped grow the Summit’s community year after year. Working closely with the advisory council, she plays a key role in curating impactful content and education, driving continued engagement and relevance.

Nicki is also a top-performing Associate at ConferenceDirect, consistently ranking among the firm’s top 25 revenue producers. With a background that includes Four Seasons and The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, she brings deep expertise in luxury hospitality and is widely recognized as a leader in the field. She works with a number of prominent law firms nationwide.
